Artist's Comments
I have come to realize, for some reason, it's very relaxing for me to create these types of images... these abstract mechanical engine/machine "thingamajigs". It's very meditative... hence the name "ZEN-gine".
This was a quick concept test to determine if this idea was possible to do on a large scale. I will be posting some of the large engines soon. I have about three of them that I'm working on at the moment. Parts modeled in Modo, assembled and rendered in ZBrush. Post-work in Photoshop. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
