I finally got a chance to try the "Stone Portrait" technique off the "Photoshop Top Secret" dvd set. I took it a few steps further than Mark shows on the dvd and I think it turned out pretty cool. It's nice to know that I can use this technique on most images.

100% Photoshop. Created in 2007.

I didn't know how to use photoshop at all and then I started watching the Top Secret DVDs and now I am, hopefully, getting better and better.

I think you're doing a great job... just keep it up. I've been doing this a long time and I continue to get better everyday.

The trick is to try new things all the time and not get to comfortable with any one technique. :-)

I am going to start working on changing the color of skin and layers of color.
Like making someones skin really pale and things like that.
Maybe at some point we can share some techniques or something.
Not copying just things like if I ask "How do you do the metal effect." or something like that.
Because I have a hard time doing metal.
